About Us

The Wishing Well Florist is a corporate and special event florist offering a uniquely stunning product from the finest imported and locally grown flowers. Established for over sixty years on the north side of Chicago on Belmont Avenue, they have recently relocated just west of the University Village neighborhood. Dorothy and Heidi, friends since kindergarten, happened upon the floral industry when they enthusiastically purchased The Wishing Well Florist in March of 2005. Since that time they have worked diligently to ensure a sense of quality by bringing customers outstanding service with imaginative designs from their vast experience of creativity. This past August they transitioned their focus from retail to corporate needs and special events only, due to the high demand of their customer’s response to the impressive products and service they received.
